1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect information you provide directly, including:
- Name and email address
- Organization or company name
- Authentication credentials (passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext)
- Billing information (processed and stored by our payment provider; we do not store full payment card numbers)
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including:
- IP address, browser type, and operating system
- Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the dashboard
- CLI version and command usage patterns (no source code is collected)
- Timestamps and session duration
Deployment Metadata
When you deploy through POC.ai, we collect metadata about your deployments, including:
- Framework type, build configuration, and environment variables names (not values)
- Deployment status, duration, and resource consumption
- Log data generated during the build and deployment process
Important: We do not access, read, or analyze your application source code. Your code is processed only for the purpose of building and deploying your application and is not retained after the deployment process completes, except as cached build artifacts you control.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process your deployments and manage your account
- Send transactional communications (deployment status, billing receipts, security alerts)
- Improve the Service, including performance optimization and new feature development
- Monitor for abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may share information with:
- Infrastructure providers that host and process data on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, CDN, and DNS providers), bound by data processing agreements
- Payment processors to handle billing and subscription management
- Analytics services to help us understand usage patterns and improve the Service (data is aggregated and anonymized where possible)

4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Deployment metadata and logs are retained for 90 days by default; you may configure shorter or longer retention periods in your account settings.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
- Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication

- Isolated deployment environments with no shared tenancy

6. Your Rights
